Series: The Corps

This note contains spoilers for the series.

The Marine Corps, starting just before WWII in China. Ken McCoy has just made Corporal. He then gets involved in a self-defense incident (clear-cut), hidden in intelligence for a while (which is in turn hidden in a long road-trip), proves himself good at it, gets sent back to the US for a bit, made an officer, and gets involved in all sorts of things.

The series extends up through Korea, so we get two different views of the Korean war, one here and one in the Brotherhood of War series. Both of them have the intelligence gathering operation at Socho Ri, but with quite different characters running it.
